River Plate has officially announced that it has reached an agreement with Mexican club Tigres UANL for the permanent transfer of Argentine forward Angel Correa. The 29-year-old attacker will undergo medical examinations in the coming hours before signing his contract to become a River Plate player. According to previous reports, the transfer fee is structured as $15 million fixed, with up to $2 million in performance-based bonuses, bringing the total potential value to $17 million. Correa, who previously played for Atletico Madrid and most recently for Tigres, returns to his boyhood club River Plate where he began his professional career. The announcement was made via River Plate's official channels on July 24.
