KFC Global appoints Maria Cacciapuoti as Chief Operations Officer

KFC Global announced the appointment of Maria Cacciapuoti as Chief Operations Officer (COO), effective September 1, 2026. She will report directly to CEO Scott Mezvinsky and lead the Global Operations function, focusing on operational excellence and modernizing the KFC experience for consumers and franchise partners. Cacciapuoti joined KFC in 2015 and has held leadership roles across Italy, Iberia, Western Europe, Central and Eastern Europe, and most recently North Asia. She is recognized as a results-driven leader with expertise in operations, finance, franchising, and general management, having spent over 20 years in the restaurant and retail industries, including previous roles at McDonald's, Autogrill, and Librerie Feltrinelli.
