Espanyol have continued their strong preseason form, defeating French Ligue 2 side Pau 4-0 in Peralada. Goals from Bauza, Kike García, Cabrera, and Marcos Fernández secured the comfortable victory for Manolo González's side.
The win follows Espanyol's first preseason triumph against Olot. The team now heads to England to continue preparations, with their next match against Burnley — Espanyol's "sister" club, also owned by Alan Pace.
