Daniel Siad, a 69-year-old French professional model recruiter whose name appeared over 2,000 times in the Jeffrey Epstein files, was found dead at his home near Paris. French prosecutors confirmed he was under investigation for human trafficking and tax fraud linked to Epstein, and had been subjected to phone taps, though no evidence justified his immediate arrest. Siad's lawyer stated he died of a heart attack, pending autopsy results. Siad is the second Epstein-linked figure to die in France, following modeling agent Jean-Luc Brunel, who was found hanged in his prison cell in 2022. The Epstein files revealed a network of lesser-known associates, particularly from the modeling industry, who facilitated introductions of young women and teenage girls to Epstein, often through crude and sexualized emails.
