Two fans of CD Castellón, Mario Barberá (14) and Iván González (44), traveled from Castellón to Madrid to participate in the Spanish national team's World Cup victory celebration at Plaza de Cibeles. They brought a CD Castellón flag, which they proudly displayed among the crowd, representing the 'orellut' fanbase. Mario plays for the cadet A team of Sporting de Castellón, while Iván is a coach and volunteer for CD Castellón. The decision to make the trip was spontaneous, made right after the World Cup final ended. They were the only members of their expedition and took photos and videos showing the Castellón flag in the heart of the festivities, highlighting the presence of local club pride during a national celebration.

The albinegro spirit was proudly represented at the celebration of Spain's World Cup victory. Mario Barberá and Iván González, two fans from Castellón with strong ties to local football, traveled specifically to Madrid to take part in the festivities held last Monday at the Plaza de Cibeles.
Both brought a flag of CD Castellón, which they displayed at the heart of the celebration, marking the presence of the 'orellut' fanbase on a day that will be forever remembered in Spanish football.
The Fans
- Mario Barberá, 14, plays for the cadet A team of Sporting de Castellón.
- Iván González, 44, a friend of Mario's parents, is a coach for Odisea and a regular volunteer for CD Castellón, where he helps hold one of the banners on match days at Castalia.
A Decision Made on the Spot
The idea for the trip came immediately after the final ended. As they later explained to Mediterráneo, both decided to travel to Madrid solely to attend the celebration, and they were the only members of the expedition.
"We thought about it when the match ended and we went to Madrid specifically for the celebration," said Mario, who clarified that he went with Iván, his former coach and someone deeply connected to the Castellón football scene.
Capturing the Moment
The two fans took several photos and videos during the festivities, appearing in every image proudly holding the Castellón flag among the crowd gathered in the square of the Spanish capital.
An image that shows that, even in a nationwide celebration, the albinegro colors also found their place.
