Senator Warner urges Wall Street to reject Trump Media's Truth API data feed

Senator Mark Warner, the senior Democrat on the Senate Intelligence Committee, sent letters to six major financial trade groups on Tuesday urging them to publicly reject Trump Media & Technology Group's Truth API, a paid data feed offering early access to President Donald Trump's Truth Social posts. Warner argued the deal would allow Trump to personally profit from releasing government policy information. Major banks reportedly have no plans to purchase the feed, citing political risk. The service, set to launch August 1, delivers posts from Truth Social's 10 most influential accounts within milliseconds. Trump Media has floated a monthly price of up to $100,000, with a reduced rate of $60,000 for three-year commitments. Regulatory filings show the Donald J. Trump Revocable Trust owns approximately 41% of TMTG shares. Other Democrats, including Senators Ron Wyden and Elizabeth Warren, have also criticized the product as a conflict of interest.
