David Raum, 28-year-old left-back for RB Leipzig and the German national team (DFB), has launched a fashion label called 'Vorgrace' with friends from his hometown of Nuremberg. The collection, featuring hoodies, pants, long-sleeve shirts, and baseball caps in limited quantities, was worn by Raum during the World Cup, including when departing for a match against Ivory Coast. The label will go on sale this coming Friday via its Instagram channel. Raum describes the style as 'simplicity with an edge,' designed to be wearable by all ages. He emphasizes his role is behind the scenes, not to sell merchandise under his own name. Meanwhile, Raum is expected back at RB Leipzig next week for preseason, where contract extension talks are pending as his current deal expires next summer. The article highlights Raum's off-pitch ventures, including golf and DJing, alongside his football career.
Source report
DFB star David Raum (28/RB Leipzig) is currently enjoying his post-World Cup vacation in Southern Europe, with paella and boat trips on the Mediterranean. But the left-back is also actively pursuing his off-pitch projects.
Raum, who featured in two of Germany's four matches at the World Cup, has long had interests beyond football — he plays golf and DJs at venues in Leipzig. Now, he has added fashion designer to his résumé.
DFB Star Raum Founds Label "Vorgrace"
At the end of April, Raum founded the label "Vorgrace" together with friends. The collection includes:
- Hoodies
- Pants
- Long-sleeve shirts (in limited quantities)
- Baseball caps
Raum was already seen wearing items from the collection during the World Cup, including when departing for Toronto ahead of the match against Ivory Coast (2–1).
The label has now announced on its Instagram channel that the collection will go on sale this coming Friday.
Speaking to BILD about "Vorgrace," Raum explained:
"This is a project by two friends from my hometown of Nuremberg that I support. We sat down two years ago and said: Let's make our own clothes. I'm mainly involved in the design, but also in production. But I'm in the background — I don't want to sell merchandise or the David Raum brand."
Describing the fashion style, Raum said: "We always say: 'Simplicity with an edge' — simple fashion, but with that certain something. That anyone can wear, from young to old."

RB Leipzig Wants to Extend with Raum
The 39-time international is expected back at his club next week. Alongside pre-season preparation with RB Leipzig, the coming weeks will also focus on his future. His contract expires next summer, and RB Leipzig would like to extend his deal.
Raum recently postponed a decision on his future with an eye on the World Cup. Now, facts are to be established — not just with his fashion label.
