FinanceAMD stock rose over 3% on Monday after Rosenblatt and UBS raised their price targets to $655 and $700 respectively, and Microsoft announced it will use AMD's upcoming Helios rackscale AI platform for Azure workloads. The Helios platform, combining AMD's Instinct MI455X GPU, Epyc Venice CPU, Pensando DPU, and ROCm software, is designed to compete with Nvidia's Grace Blackwell and Vera Rubin platforms. The news comes ahead of AMD's Advancing AI conference where CEO Lisa Su is expected to provide product roadmap updates. AMD stock has gained 139% year-to-date, driven by strong data center revenue growth from $6.5 billion in 2023 to an estimated $31.2 billion in 2026, offsetting a 25% decline expected in the Gaming segment.
