The deal is worth a guaranteed £4 million upfront, potentially rising to £8 million with performance-related add-ons, and includes a 15% sell-on clause for Tottenham. Thompson, an England Under-18 international, joined Tottenham at age 12 and scored 13 goals with six assists last season across U18 and U21 levels, including seven goals in seven UEFA Youth League appearances.
