Sports3 similar reports mergedFC Porto has officially announced the signing of South Korean international midfielder Hwang In-beom from Feyenoord. The 27-year-old signed a three-year contract with a one-year renewal option and will wear the number 16 jersey. Hwang In-beom began his career in South Korea with Daejeon Citizen, later serving military duty with Asan Mugunghwa and earning an exemption after winning gold at the 2018 Asian Games. He moved overseas to Vancouver Whitecaps, then played for Rubin Kazan, FC Seoul, Olympiacos, Red Star Belgrade (where he was named Serbian SuperLiga Player of the Year), and Feyenoord. At Feyenoord, he was selected for the Eredivisie Team of the Month and helped the team qualify for the UEFA Champions League under Robin van Persie. Hwang has 77 caps for South Korea, was named Best Player of the 2019 Asian Cup, and has played in two World Cups. He will compete for Porto in the Primeira Liga, domestic cups, and Champions League.
