Mohamed Salah agrees to join Besiktas on one-year deal

Mohamed Salah has reportedly agreed to join Turkish club Besiktas on a one-year deal worth €10 million (£8.5m) plus €2m in bonuses, with an option to extend for another year. The 34-year-old Egyptian star confirmed in March that the 2025-26 season would be his last at Liverpool, ending his legendary tenure at Anfield. Despite interest from Saudi Arabia, Salah will remain in Europe. Besiktas hopes to finalize the transfer early next week after Salah's World Cup commitments with Egypt end. He will join new signing Leandro Trossard in Besiktas' revamped attack. Salah's agent, Ramy Abass, hinted on social media that an announcement is imminent.
