The body of an Italian sports journalist was discovered on Sunday by firefighters responding to a blaze in Eboli, south of Naples, according to the Italian prosecutor's office, as reported by AFP.
The victim has been identified as Luigi Esposito, a 53-year-old journalist who also worked for the regional environmental agency. He was known by the first name Luca and covered sports for several local media outlets, the Italian National Order of Journalists confirmed.
Homicide Investigation Underway
