OtherThe U.S. Space Force has identified Airman 1st Class Cedric Eneluna, 23, as the service member who died in an accident at Vandenberg Space Force Base in California on Thursday morning. Eneluna was operating heavy equipment when it rolled off an embankment around 11:30 a.m. He was assigned to the 30th Civil Engineer Squadron's Pavements and Equipment Flight, known as the 'Dirt Boyz,' which maintains base infrastructure. No one else was injured. The Santa Barbara County Coroner's Office has not yet determined the exact cause of death, and the accident remains under investigation. Eneluna joined the Air Force in March 2024 and was assigned to Vandenberg later that year. He had lived in both the Philippines and Missouri. Col. James T. Horne III and Lt. Col. Seth Poulsen offered condolences, praising his character and dedication.
