Taylor Swift currently has two singles being promoted to radio, but a glance at Billboard's Adult Contemporary chart reveals a far more impressive presence. The singer has achieved a historic first on the tally, which moves at a significantly slower pace than other radio charts.

"Elizabeth Taylor" Enters the Top 10

Swift's latest single, "Elizabeth Taylor," the third official release from her album The Life of a Showgirl, has climbed into the top 10 on the Adult Contemporary chart. After 16 weeks on the chart, the song rose from No. 14 to No. 10.

This week, Swift occupies an extraordinary four spots within the top 10, and they appear consecutively:

• No. 7: "The Fate of Ophelia" (backtracking slightly)
• No. 8: "Opalite" (holding steady)
• No. 9: "I Knew It, I Knew You" (stationary at its all-time high)
• No. 10: "Elizabeth Taylor" (new entry)

A Historic First on the Adult Contemporary Chart

According to Billboard, Swift is the first artist—excluding seasonal music—to land four simultaneous top 10 hits on the Adult Contemporary chart. The chart has been published continuously since 1961.

The only other artist to achieve this feat was Michael Bublé, who occupied half of the top 10 spaces during the colder months of 2011.

Taylor Swift's Nine No. 1 Hits

Swift has scored nine No. 1 hits on the Adult Contemporary chart. Her first was "Love Story" in summer 2009, and her most recent was "Cruel Summer" in January 2024, which gained viral momentum after being included in her Eras Tour setlist.

None of her current four top 10 songs have reached No. 1, though "The Fate of Ophelia" came close, peaking at No. 2 in March. "Opalite" reached No. 4 in May.
