SportsLigue 1 club Le Havre has announced the signing of Japanese striker Sota Nakamura from Sanfrecce Hiroshima, marking the club's fourth summer acquisition. The 23-year-old forward, described as a versatile attacker capable of playing on the wing or as a center forward, stands at 1.68 meters and is noted for his technical skill and pace. Nakamura had a productive 2025 season in the J1 League, appearing in around thirty matches across all competitions and recording 5 goals and 1 assist. This transfer represents Nakamura's first European experience. He will join compatriots Ayumu Seko, already at Le Havre, and Kaito Mizuta, with whom he previously played at Maebashi Ikuei High School in Japan. The signing was officially announced on July 17, 2026.
