SportsBBC Sport reports that the final two matches of the 2026 FIFA World Cup will be broadcast live on BBC TV. The third-place play-off, now called the bronze final, will feature England against France on Saturday, July 18, 2026, kicking off at 22:00 BST. The World Cup final will be played on Sunday, July 19, 2026, between Argentina and Spain, with a 20:00 BST kick-off. Both matches will be shown live on BBC One and BBC iPlayer, with live commentary on BBC Radio 5 Live. ITV will also broadcast the final. The BBC Sport website will provide live text commentary, in-game highlights, and a 3D experience allowing viewers to control camera angles and view real-time stats. Both games will be available in ultra high definition (UHD).
