Shell has launched a new mobile app and rewards platform called Wise Rewards at its Timewise convenience stores in Texas and New Mexico. The program, announced on July 15, 2026, offers fuel discounts of up to 30 cents per gallon on the first fill-up and 5 cents per gallon on everyday purchases, with additional savings for in-store spending. Members can also access clubs, car wash savings, and personalized promotions. The app, developed with Rovertown, will soon integrate with Mosaic car wash software and includes an employee hub. The launch comes as gas prices rise, with AAA reporting average prices of $3.48 in Texas and $4 in New Mexico. Timewise operates over 200 convenience stores across the two states.

Dive Insight
Timewise stated in the announcement that its new rewards program is "designed to deliver meaningful savings, particularly at the pump."
These efforts come days after AAA reported that gas prices are starting to rise once again as the future of the ceasefire between the U.S. and Iran remains uncertain. As of Wednesday, the average price of regular gas in Texas and New Mexico was $3.48 and $4 per gallon, respectively, according to AAA. In Texas, that is nearly 70 cents more than a year ago, while in New Mexico, it is over a $1 increase.
With its new program, Timewise rewards members can save up to 30 cents per gallon on their first fill-up and an additional 5 cents per gallon on everyday fuel purchases. The program also connects with Shell's Fuel Rewards system, allowing customers to stack savings from both programs.
"Our focus is simple: deliver more value for our customers on the go in a way that is easy and convenient," said Prabhu Murugan, chief marketing officer at Timewise. "With the launch of Wise Rewards and our new mobile app, we're giving customers more ways to make the most of every visit."
Timewise rewards members can also earn up to an additional 10 cents per gallon in savings when they spend $10 or more inside the store. Members can take advantage of exclusive deals and personalized in-app promotions, such as Timewise's Refreshment Club and Roller Grill Club.
The app, built with the help of c-store app developer Rovertown, will soon integrate with car wash software from Mosaic. It also features an employee hub to support store operations and communications across Timewise's network.
"This is an exciting step forward for Timewise as we continue to invest in our customers and our stores," said Murugan.
