The India International Travel Mart (IITM) Chennai 2026 was inaugurated by Minister for Tourism S. Rajesh Kumar in the city on Thursday.

Following the inauguration of the three-day exhibition, the Minister also launched the pavilion of the Tamil Nadu Tourism Development Corporation (TTDC).

Rohit Hangal, Director of Sphere Travelmedia and Exhibitions—the event organiser—stated that this year, over 400 exhibitors from various parts of the country, as well as from Bhutan and Nepal, are showcasing nearly 28 national and international destinations.

The exhibition will be held from July 16 to 18.
