AEW Dynamite: Kenny Omega celebrates title win, Kevin Knight challenges for Redemption PPV

With two pay-per-views looming on the horizon, the July 15 episode of AEW Dynamite had plenty of heavy lifting to do in Boston as several storylines began coming into focus.

Last week, Kenny Omega defeated MJF to capture the AEW World Championship, marking his first world title win in more than 1,000 days. The victory also seemingly locked in a showdown with Will Ospreay at All In after the Aerial Assassin won the Men's Owen Hart Cup, though Redemption still stands between now and Wembley Stadium. With another pay-per-view still to come, who would step up to challenge the Best Bout Machine first?

Elsewhere, Kyle Fletcher put the AEW International Championship on the line against Komander. Would the Protostar remain champion by the end of the night?

AEW Dynamite Results for July 15, 2026

• Backstage: Daniel Garcia hypes up Will Ospreay as he trains near a row of electrical boxes. Jon Moxley tells Ospreay it's game time and reminds him not to let Adam Copeland and Christian Cage off the hook later in the night. Moxley says these final steps toward Wembley are critical and that hesitation often costs people everything. He tells Ospreay that he has earned this opportunity and that difficult decisions will come down the road, but getting his title shot and "pulling the trigger" should be simple, regardless of the target.

• Adam Copeland and Christian Cage def. Daniel Garcia and Wheeler Yuta by pinfall. The Young Bucks were shown applauding from the crowd. After the match, Clark Connors, David Finlay, and Claudio Castagnoli attacked Copeland and Cage until the Bang Bang Gang ran down to make the save.

• A replay airs of Hikaru Shida injuring Harley Cameron on Collision.

• A replay from Collision shows Mark Davis successfully retaining the AEW National Championship against Speedball Mike Bailey.

• A vignette for Andrade El Idolo airs.

• Backstage: Andrade says he'll fight every member of the Don Callis Family and take all of their championships because becoming AEW World Champion is his destiny. He says he isn't nervous and pulls out MJF's Dynamite Diamond Ring. When Renee Paquette asks where he got it, Andrade simply says it came from a friend, heavily implying Will Ospreay.

• Backstage: The Demand approach The Conglomeration regarding the AEW Trios Championship and say it's time for the titles to come around their waists. Before the conversation can continue, Blake Christian, Lee Johnson, and Jay Lethal attack The Conglomeration from behind.

• Andrade El Idolo def. Jake Doyle by pinfall. After the match, Mark Davis walks onto the stage with the AEW National Championship as he and Andrade prepare to meet at Redemption.

• A highlight package airs from Kenny Omega's AEW World Championship victory at Beach Break.

• Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks come to the ring to celebrate Omega's title victory. Matt Jackson applauds Omega for winning the championship on his own and says The Elite are proud of him for proving he's still the best professional wrestler in the world. However, Jackson admits that MJF's version of the championship, the Triple B, looks terrible and presents Omega with the original AEW World Championship belt. Omega says it has been so long since he held the title that he wasn't sure he'd ever carry it again. He credits his friends, family, and the fans for helping him become champion once more and admits he would have given up on himself long ago without them. Omega says there is still work to do before All In and promises fans they'll see the best version of him.

• Will Ospreay comes out and says it's great to see Omega as champion again. Ospreay says Omega never stopped believing in himself and points to him kicking out at one after taking the championship belt shot from MJF as proof. Ospreay says Omega has always been his hero and the man who inspired him to become the wrestler he is today. He thanks Omega and says all he ever wanted was to become a fraction of what Omega was. Still, Ospreay isn't satisfied being second best and promises they'll show the world why they're standing where they are. At All In, he says, they'll show everyone where the best wrestle.

• Kevin Knight comes out and congratulates Omega before reminding him that he's still owed a world title opportunity because of MJF's promise. Knight calls Omega the Best Bout Machine before asking, "What's a god to a nonbeliever?" and challenges him for the title at Redemption. Omega questions Knight receiving a title opportunity.
