FIFA has officially announced that Salvadoran referee Ivan Barton will officiate the World Cup semi-final match between France and Spain. The 35-year-old referee will be supported by assistant referees David Moran and Antonio Pupiro, also from El Salvador. The fourth official is Glenn Nyberg from Sweden, with Mahbod Beigi as reserve assistant referee. Barton has officiated three matches in the current World Cup and three in the previous edition, bringing significant experience to this high-stakes semi-final.
