Celta de Vigo will travel to Italy during preseason to face US Sassuolo. The friendly is scheduled for August 5 at 8:00 PM at the Ricci Stadium. This marks the third confirmed preseason fixture for the club, following previously announced matches against Braga and Sporting de Gijón.
The Serie A side will be a demanding test for Claudio Giráldez's squad as they prepare for a season in which they will once again compete in European competition.
According to a statement from the Vigo-based club:
"Sassuolo is a team with experience in the elite of Italian football and known for its offensive style of play. It will be a top-level rival for a Celta that will look to add minutes and competitive rhythm ahead of a particularly exciting season."
