Wrexham complete signing of Crystal Palace defender Danny Imray
Wrexham have signed Crystal Palace full-back Danny Imray on a four-year deal, their first signing of the 2026 summer transfer window. The 23-year-old versatile defender, who can also play right wing-back, had loan spells with Blackpool and West Bromwich Albion last season. Imray never made a senior appearance for Palace but gained experience at Chelmsford City, Bromley, Blackpool, and West Brom. Manager Phil Parkinson praised Imray's journey from non-league to the Premier League and confirmed he joined the squad in the US ahead of a pre-season friendly against Liverpool. Imray cited Wrexham's upward trajectory, community focus, and Premier League ambitions as reasons for joining. Parkinson indicated further signings are possible in goal, centre-back, central midfield, and forward positions.
