2K has officially announced NBA 2K27, the next installment in its popular basketball franchise, with Victor Wembanyama as the cover athlete for the Standard Edition. The San Antonio Spurs center represents the present and future of the NBA. Caitlin Clark will appear on the Deluxe Edition cover, symbolizing the international growth of women's basketball, while Derrick Rose, the youngest MVP in NBA history, will be featured on the Ultra Edition cover, contributing a legacy element. The game aims to reflect the evolution of the sport and the impact of a new generation of stars. NBA 2K27 is set for release on September 4, 2026, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC.
