Two CD Castellón Fans Bring Club Flag to Spain's World Cup Celebration in Madrid
Two fans of CD Castellón, Mario Barberá (14) and Iván González (44), traveled from Castellón to Madrid to participate in the Spanish national team's World Cup victory celebration at Plaza de Cibeles. They brought a flag of CD Castellón, known as the 'orelluts', and displayed it prominently among the crowd. Mario plays for the Cadet A team of Sporting de Castellón, while Iván is a coach and volunteer for CD Castellón. The decision to make the trip was spontaneous, made right after the World Cup final ended. They were the only members of their expedition and took photos and videos holding the club flag. The article highlights how local club pride was present even during a nationwide celebration of Spain's World Cup win.
