Turkey's Uraloğlu Emphasizes Solidarity with Azerbaijan and Multilateral Organizations

Turkish Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu delivered a speech at the Beştepe National Congress and Culture Center during events marking Azerbaijan's Independence and Armed Forces Day. He highlighted the deep strategic partnership between Turkey and Azerbaijan, describing their relationship as 'one nation, two states' and emphasizing mutual support during conflicts and natural disasters. Uraloğlu noted that cooperation extends across various sectors, including transportation, energy, and defense, with a shared goal of reaching $15 billion in trade volume. He specifically mentioned the importance of the Central Corridor and the Lachin International Airport for regional connectivity. On the international stage, the Minister affirmed that Turkey and Azerbaijan act in solidarity within the United Nations, the Organization of Turkic States, and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation. He expressed optimism for a future defined by reconciliation and cooperation rather than conflict, asserting that both nations will continue to play leading roles in ensuring stability and prosperity in the region.
