Tredence Launches Forward Deployed Engineering Practice to Bridge Enterprise AI Last Mile
Tredence, a global AI and data science services company, announced the launch of its Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE) practice, aiming to build a dedicated pool of 200 FDEs over the next 12-18 months. The practice focuses on creating domain-native engineers who are specialists in industries like retail, supply chain, and revenue growth management, applying deep AI and engineering expertise to solve complex business problems for Fortune 100 enterprises. Tredence's FDEs are platform agnostic, working across major technology stacks including Databricks, Google Cloud, Microsoft, Snowflake, and AWS. The initiative addresses the 'last mile' challenge in enterprise AI, where data, systems, and business decisions must converge to create measurable value. CEO Shub Bhowmick emphasized that success depends on combining AI-native engineering with industry depth. The company has over 4,200 employees globally and serves top brands in retail, CPG, hi-tech, telecom, healthcare, travel, and industrials.
