Three Pairs of Trains Get Experimental Halt at Sawantwadi Road
The Ministry of Railways has announced an experimental halt for three pairs of trains at Sawantwadi Road station in Maharashtra, India. The affected services include Train No. 12133/12134 Mumbai CSMT-Mangaluru Junction Superfast Express, which will stop at Sawantwadi Road from July 2026. Train No. 12133 will arrive at 7:02 a.m. and depart at 7:04 a.m. from Sunday, while the return service Train No. 12134 will halt at 11:30 p.m. to 11:32 p.m. from Monday. Additionally, Train No. 12432/12431 Hazrat Nizamuddin-Thiruvananthapuram Central tri-weekly Express will halt from Sunday and Tuesday respectively. Train No. 12201/12202 Mumbai LTT-Thiruvananthapuram North bi-weekly Garib Rath Express will halt from Monday and Thursday respectively. The decision was announced by the Konkan Railway Corporation Ltd. and aims to improve connectivity for passengers in the region.
