Suazo: 'The goal is not to suffer'
Sevilla FC defender Gabriel Suazo spoke to the media after his team's 0-0 draw against Córdoba in the IV Puertas de Córdoba Trophy, which Sevilla won on penalties. Suazo, who wore the captain's armband in the second half, expressed pride in the academy players for showing they can compete. He noted the team is gaining rhythm and understanding the manager's ideas, but lacked finishing in the final third. Suazo emphasized the squad's short-term goals of scoring goals and keeping clean sheets, and the broader objective of not suffering and giving more joy to fans. He also spoke about the honor of captaining the club and his desire to help teammates. Sevilla's next preseason test is against Ceuta on Sunday.
