U.S. Space Force Awards Rocket Lab $266 Million Missile Testing Contract
Rocket Lab Corporation announced a $266 million multi-launch contract with the U.S. Space Force, the largest single launch agreement the company has ever secured. The deal, managed through the Space Systems Command's Rocket Systems Launch Program, covers 12 suborbital launches with an option for up to six more. These launches are intended for missile defense testing, mimicking ballistic missile trajectories to test interceptor systems and sensors.
