Seven & i in talks to invest in Poland’s largest c-store chain
Seven & i Holdings, the parent company of 7-Eleven, announced on July 17, 2026, that it is in discussions to invest in Poland's largest convenience store chain. While the company did not name the retailer, Zabka, which operates over 12,900 stores in Poland and Romania and went public in late 2024, is identified as the likely target based on USDA data. Seven & i emphasized that no agreement has been reached and will disclose any decisions promptly. 7-Eleven currently has no stores in Poland, with its European presence limited to Scandinavia. The potential investment aligns with Seven & i's strategy to focus on convenience retail globally, following the sale of its York Holdings operating arm in 2025.
