Satriano and Zaid Romero Lead Getafe to Comeback Victory Over Tenerife in Preseason Friendly
Getafe secured their second preseason victory by coming from behind to beat CD Tenerife 2-1 at the Heliodoro Rodríguez López stadium, winning the Trofeo Ciudad de Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Tenerife took the lead in the 38th minute through Víctor Moreno, who finished a cross with his left foot. Getafe, who started with six reserve team players including newly announced signing Mady Macalou, equalized in the 53rd minute when Martín Satriano converted a penalty. With the match heading for a draw, Getafe turned the game around in the 90th minute when Zaid Romero headed in a corner from Kiko Femenía. The win maintains Getafe's perfect preseason record after previous victories over Reading and Tenerife. Getafe will next face Real Valladolid on Saturday in Las Rozas.
