São Paulo Condemned to Pay €800,000 Commission After Lucas Beraldo Transfer to PSG
Brazilian club São Paulo has been ordered by Brazilian courts to pay €800,000 in commission to an agent following the transfer of defender Lucas Beraldo to Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) at the end of 2023. The club contests the validity of the agreement and has announced it will appeal the decision. Beraldo, who has been a substitute since joining PSG, played 25 matches in all competitions last season, scoring two goals and providing one assist. The news was reported by the Brazilian press and covered by French football outlet Foot Mercato.
