Saffery adds four senior tax specialists in Scotland
UK-based accountancy and business advisory firm Saffery has appointed four senior tax professionals across its Edinburgh and Inverness offices in Scotland. The hires aim to strengthen the company's capabilities in corporate tax and professional partnerships. In Edinburgh, Emma Siegel joins as corporate tax director from Forvis Mazars, Susan Pattison as corporate tax senior manager from Henderson Loggie, and Patricia Bell as tax senior manager from Ashurst. In Inverness, Lois Tack has been hired as corporate tax senior manager from Azets. The new specialists bring expertise in UK corporation tax, cultural tax reliefs, high-net-worth tax compliance, and R&D tax relief. Saffery's Edinburgh office head Sean McGinness noted the appointments enhance the firm's tax offering, which now includes 33 specialists across multiple tax areas. Saffery has operated in Scotland for over three decades.
