21 Research Center: Gap Between Tisza and Fidesz Widens Significantly

A May 2026 survey conducted by the 21 Research Center reveals a dramatic shift in Hungarian political preferences, with the Tisza Party surging to 69 percent support among eligible voters, while the ruling Fidesz party has declined to 23 percent. This represents a massive 46-percentage-point gap, driven by a 13-point gain for Tisza and an equivalent loss for Fidesz since the previous month.
