Remal Alcast's Billet Manufacturing Division Achieves AS9100D Certificate for Aerospace and Defence
Remal Alcast Pvt. Ltd., an Indian manufacturer of master alloys, cast alloys, and aluminium billets, announced that its billet casthouse has received AS9100D certification for aviation and defence applications, along with ISO 9001:2015. The certifications, technically equivalent to EN9100:2018 and JISQ9100:2016, were audited by DNV Business Assurance USA Inc. under the ICOP Scheme. The company aims to reduce India's dependence on imported specialised aluminium alloys for critical industries, particularly the extrusion and forging sectors. This milestone strengthens Remal's ability to serve aerospace and defence markets while supporting the Make in India and Atmanirbhar Bharat initiatives by building domestic capability in traditionally imported materials.
