A recent MRI examination conducted on Thursday revealed positive healing results and an absence of symptoms, prompting the team to clear him for standard pre-game activities at Progressive Field. Manager Terry Francona indicated that while the team is accelerating Suárez's rehabilitation, they are proceeding cautiously to avoid setbacks. The 34-year-old third baseman, who was placed on the 10-day injured list retroactive to April 23 after injuring himself during batting practice, is now scheduled to participate in stretching, hitting, fielding ground balls, and base running. Francona noted that if progress continues as expected, Suárez could begin hitting off a velocity machine as early as Saturday. Although the organization has discussed a potential Minor League rehab assignment, no specific timeline or target date has been established yet, as it remains too early to make such determinations.
