Real Zaragoza Targets Tenerife Striker Jesús de Miguel as Transfer Standoff Continues
Tenerife striker Jesús de Miguel is set to leave the club this summer as he is not in coach Álvaro Cervera's plans, evidenced by his lack of playing time in a recent friendly. Tenerife has already reinforced its attack with Grant Leon-Ranos and is seeking another center forward to partner Enric Gallego. Once that signing is made, De Miguel will be allowed to leave, with Tenerife aiming to sell him for at least 200,000 euros. Real Zaragoza has expressed interest but is currently unwilling to meet that price. De Miguel, 29, is keen on joining Zaragoza, having previously been a top scorer in Primera RFEF with Castellón and contributing 11 goals and 7 assists in Tenerife's promotion-winning season. Meanwhile, another Tenerife striker, Gastón Vallés, is also leaving but will not join Zaragoza.
