PSG to Receive €2.5 Million from FIFA for 2026 World Cup Player Compensation
Following the conclusion of the 2026 World Cup, where Spain defeated Argentina 1-0 in extra time, FIFA is compensating clubs for releasing players to the tournament. In Ligue 1, LOSC ranks second with €1.2 million for 8 players, followed by AS Monaco (€960,000), Stade Rennais (€930,000), Strasbourg (€910,000), OGC Nice (€890,000), and OM (€880,000). Ligue 1 is the fourth best-compensated league overall with €11.83 million, behind the Premier League, Bundesliga, and La Liga.
