Prison sentences requested for two OGC Nice ultras over player assault
The Nice public prosecutor's office has requested prison sentences of one to two years for two OGC Nice ultras charged with violence against players Terem Moffi and Jérémie Boga. The incident occurred in November 2025 after OGC Nice's 3-1 defeat to Lorient, when over 200 supporters blocked the team bus at the training center. The two defendants, repeat offenders from the 'Populaire Sud' ultra group, were allowed onto the bus to calm the situation and convinced players to disembark. While most players passed without incident, Moffi and Boga were subjected to spitting, insults, and violent shoving. The players filed complaints, though police reported no visible injuries. Prosecutor Damien Martinelli described the event as an 'ambush' and requested two years (one year suspended) for Mohamed C., and two years with an arrest warrant for Anthony D., plus revocation of probation. The defense argued the real perpetrators remain unidentified. The Nice criminal court will deliver its verdict on September 11.
