Preparations Complete for Unofficial Turkic States Summit on AI in Turkestan

Preparations have been finalized in Turkestan, Kazakhstan, for the upcoming Unofficial Summit of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS). Hosted by Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the summit centers on the theme "Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development." The event aims to strengthen the common technology vision among member states, with discussions ranging from digital transformation to specific cooperation in artificial intelligence. The city, recognized as the spiritual capital of the Turkic world, has been decorated with flags of participating nations, blending its ancient history with a focus on the digital future. A traditional Kazakh tent structure has been erected for the proceedings. High-level attendance is expected, including Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov, and TRNC President Tufan Erhürman. This gathering underscores the bloc's intent to enhance unity and collaboration through technological advancement, marking a significant step in integrating modern digital strategies within the regional political framework.
