PMA Alumni Urge Neutrality as Senator Dela Rosa Faces ICC Warrant

Dela Rosa, a former police chief, rejects the ICC's jurisdiction, citing the Philippines' 2019 withdrawal from the Rome Statute, while his legal team seeks Supreme Court intervention. Tensions heightened after a shooting incident inside the Senate compound, which triggered security alarms and led to the arrest of an NBI-employed driver. Although speculation about political instability arose, Armed Forces of the Philippines Chief General Romeo Brawner Jr. assured the public that the military remains disciplined and focused on constitutional duties, dismissing concerns of any destabilization attempts.
