Photographer Discovers Lost Jeffrey Epstein Photos Thought Destroyed

Vanity Fair photographer Christopher Anderson has uncovered previously unseen photographs of Jeffrey Epstein on an old hard drive, years after believing the images were destroyed. Anderson revealed that Epstein’s bodyguard, Merwin, had previously intimidated him into surrendering the negatives, describing the enforcer as a massive figure in a black overcoat and leather gloves. The recovered images are characterized as stark and haunting. Notably, the photographs include details of Epstein’s mantelpiece, which displayed pictures of high-profile figures such as Woody Allen, former President Bill Clinton, and President Donald Trump. Anderson noted that while Trump’s image was present, it received little attention at the time. The photographer described sensing something unsettling about Epstein during the original session and expressed surprise at how these subjects would later become central to a global scandal.
