Photographer Discovers Lost Jeffrey Epstein Photos Thought Destroyed

Vanity Fair photographer Christopher Anderson has discovered previously unseen photographs of disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein, which he believed had been destroyed years ago. The images were found on an old hard drive as Anderson prepared to move to Europe. Originally taken for a Vanity Fair story that was ultimately spiked, the photos were reportedly seized by Epstein after Anderson was intimidated by Epstein’s bodyguard, Merwin, who visited his studio to threaten him. In his upcoming book, Index, Anderson describes the portraits as stark and haunting, reflecting his intuition that something was amiss during the shoot at Epstein’s New York townhome. The photographs also captured images of Epstein’s mantle, featuring pictures of high-profile figures such as Woody Allen, Bill Clinton, and potentially Donald Trump. Anderson noted that while these individuals are now central to global narratives surrounding Epstein, their significance was not apparent at the time. This discovery provides new visual documentation of Epstein and his associations, resurfacing amidst continued public interest in the financier's crimes and connections.
