Philip Davis and Progressive Liberal Party Win Bahamas General Election

Philip Davis has secured a second consecutive term as Prime Minister of the Bahamas after his Progressive Liberal Party (PLP) won the general election held on May 12, 2026. This victory marks a historic milestone, as it is the first time in nearly three decades, since 1997, that a Bahamian political party has won back-to-back general elections.
