Pakistan Successfully Test Fires Indigenously Developed Fatah-IV Cruise Missile

The Pakistan Army Rocket Force Command successfully conducted a test fire of the indigenously developed Fatah-IV ground-launched cruise missile on Thursday. According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the weapon system features advanced avionics and state-of-the-art navigational aids, enabling it to engage long-range targets with high precision. The test aimed to validate technical parameters for improved accuracy and survivability while enhancing troop operational efficiency. Top national leaders, including President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, and Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Asim Munir, commended the achievement, praising the dedication of scientists and engineers. Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar also highlighted the test as a significant milestone in strengthening Pakistan’s indigenous defense capabilities and strategic deterrence. This event follows the successful launch of the Fateh-II missile system less than three weeks prior and a previous Fatah-IV test in September 2025 at a range of 750 kilometers. The development underscores Pakistan's continued progress in its domestic defense sector and military modernization efforts.
