Their $125 million gift to the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the largest capital contribution in the museum's history, funded the new Tang Wing for Modern and Contemporary Art, scheduled to open in 2030. Additionally, they provided $20 million to the New York Historical Society for a wing dedicated to American democracy and donated $40 million to the New York Philharmonic, marking its largest endowment gift ever.
