Nvidia Partners with UK Startup Ineffable Intelligence for Next-Gen AI Infrastructure
Nvidia has announced a strategic partnership with British AI startup Ineffable Intelligence to develop next-generation model training infrastructure focused on reinforcement learning. The collaboration aims to create AI systems that learn continuously through trial and error, moving beyond traditional human-led data training. Ineffable Intelligence, founded by former Google DeepMind architect David Silver, recently secured a record-breaking $1.1 billion seed funding round, with Nvidia participating alongside Google, Sequoia Capital, and the UK government’s Sovereign AI Fund. Under the agreement, engineers from both companies will co-develop a scalable pipeline for reinforcement learning systems. Nvidia will supply its Grace Blackwell chips and Vera Rubin platform to support this engineering-level collaboration. Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang described these new systems as superlearners capable of discovering new knowledge independently. This deal represents part of Nvidia's broader investment strategy in the global AI ecosystem, including significant backing of European firms like Mistral and Nscale. The initiative seeks to address the complex challenge of building AI that can generate novel insights rather than merely replicating existing human knowledge, marking a significant shift toward experience-led artificial intelligence development.
