Monaco Striker Lucas Michal Loaned to Cercle Bruges Without Purchase Option
AS Monaco is loaning 21-year-old striker Lucas Michal to Belgian club Cercle Bruges, a partner club, without a purchase option. Michal, a former France U20 international, returns from a mixed development loan at Metz where he made nine Ligue 1 appearances (two starts) between February and May. The move aims to give Michal his first full professional season of playing time. He remains under contract with Monaco until June 2029. Cercle Bruges is also close to signing striker Matthis Abline. This follows Monaco's pattern of loaning young talents like Paris Brunner and Edan Diop to Cercle Bruges.
