Miguel Loureiro Returns to Partial Group Training with Deportivo
Deportivo began its fourth week of preseason training following a 0-0 draw against Real Oviedo. The main news from Monday's session in Abegondo was defender Miguel Loureiro's return to partial group training under coach Antonio Hidalgo, his first semi-normal day of preseason. He later completed individual work with reconditioning coach Nando Rodríguez. Several other players trained separately due to injuries: Adrià Altimira (knee contusion), Bright Ede (adductor discomfort), Jonathan Asp Jensen, and youth player Noé Carrillo. Bouldini, who is expected to leave, also trained apart. Yeremay is undergoing pubalgia treatment with hopes of joining the European tour to Germany and Italy, while David Mella continues his recovery from a March injury. Deportivo's upcoming friendlies include matches against Lugo, St. Pauli in Hamburg, Fiorentina in Florence, Genoa for the Spagnolo Trophy, and a Teresa Herrera trophy match against Real Madrid on August 12.
