Miguel Loureiro Returns to Partial Group Training with Deportivo
Deportivo began its fourth week of preseason training after a 0-0 draw against Real Oviedo. The main news from Monday's session in Abegondo was defender Miguel Loureiro's return to partial group training under coach Antonio Hidalgo, his first normal day of preseason work. He later completed individual reconditioning with coach Nando Rodríguez. Several players trained separately due to injuries: Adrià Altimira (knee contusion), Bright Ede (abductor discomfort), Jonathan Asp Jensen, and youth player Noé Carrillo. Bouldini, who is expected to leave, also trained separately. Yeremay is recovering from pubalgia and may join the European tour but is unlikely to play in friendlies against St. Pauli, Fiorentina, and Genoa. David Mella returned to group tasks after a March injury. Upcoming matches include a friendly against Lugo on Wednesday, followed by a European tour starting August 1 against St. Pauli in Hamburg, then Fiorentina and Genoa in Italy. The preseason concludes with the Teresa Herrera trophy against Real Madrid on August 12.
